After only five years in the health profession, I am seriously considering a career change as well. Nobody wants to hear the truth in America. I'm tired of children who are diagnosed with autism, when really all they need is a good belt on their ass cheeks. They don't have aspergers. They're parents just refused to give a care about them and instead of facing the truth, and blaming it on their own neglect, they go out and get a medical diagnosis to justify their childrens oppositional/defiant behaviors. "yeah, she's allowed to talk to people like that. Shes autistic."
No bitch. She's not autistic. I've worked with autistic boys and girls, and they are amazing. Your kids just a spoiled little brat who needs a smack in the face.
Go ahead and get mad at me people. It's the truth, so I'm assuming you will just like you did with this guy.

How is anything he wrote racist? He doesn't mention race anywhere in this post. I'm stuck in the passive aggressive shit show that is the OB GYN rotation required for third year of medical students and I've had to do work ups on crack whores of all shapes, sizes, and colors. It sucks an epic amount of ass no matter what they look like. Until you've had to deliver a crack baby at 3am after working for 36 hours straight you have no idea what you're talking about. And as far as I can tell he didn't harm any patients - they do that well enough without help from those working in the "medical system."

I find Hoover's posts amazing! I'm on my 3rd yr med and kind of interested in OB/GYNE. Well we'll see but what hoover's posting is his opinion and that's fine. I actually agree with him for the most part. :-)
