I really miss the first 2 years of medical school! I woke up at 10am, watched some TV, worked out for an hour, read for a little bit, and then watched more TV. The good ol' days. I got mostly B's but you know what? I'll take those B's ANY DAY over attending class, labs, workshops every single day and have someone lecture me on something I can just read on my super comfy bed. Enjoy your first two years, clinicals are hell. Hey Hoover, you advocate Path, how come you don't advocate Rads?

Thanks for the compliments Old MD Girl! Exercising regularly certainly has its benefits. Honors aren't everything, either. Just making sure you're happy and trying to enjoy life to the fullest while you're in medical school is certainly worth a lot more to me.

I'm no longer in corporate America. I'm running my own company now, and I'm loving every last second of it. When I work, it doesn't even feel like work. I actually go to "work" so that I can play, and that is something that I have wanted for a very long time.

Good luck to you and your husband with his new job!

The best part of skipping class: you don't have to be anywhere near the gunners right before exams when they're in freak-out mode.

I've been trying to work out every day. I definitely think it keeps me sane, and I don't really care if I don't get honors. In my experience, the less I work, the better I do anyway. It's too bad most of my classmates don't think this way too. Everybody would be a lot more relaxed.

I've been enjoying your blog. Good luck finding an industry job. My husband's starting one tomorrow.

Thanks The Buff.

I liked years one and two much better than three and four simply because of the freedom I had. There's nothing like having your own schedule.
