Do not go to medical school. If I could redo things, I would never have come. Why? Because Medical School is classic brain washing. Think about it, they totally control your environment, keep you sleep deprived, and during surgery, they even starve you, yes starve you, many people loose several pounds during surgery rotation and this common knowledge. Total environment and lack of sleep is insured by spending 60-80 hours at the hospital before coming home to study all the junk they should have taught you during those 60-80 hours at the hospital. Then you will be treated poorly and people will just make the tired excuse that this is the way it has always been done and to stop complaining. No one gives a flip about you and it shows. They make you feel guilty if you get sick, have a doctor's appointment or otherwise are not available 24/7 to do petty garbage. You are unpaid labor for the rotation years. They are supposed to teach you but all they do is pimp you. I had an attending get upset at me because I was asking questions and they actually told me that they were supposed to be asking the questions. Why the hell do I pay these people a ton of money to only ask me questions? Why is it okay to yell at a student? What happened to common decency? If I yelled at a patient, I would be in serious trouble, but no one give a flip if a resident or attending treat me like dirt. I am just supposed to take it and not complain about it. The worst part is that by the time you hit rotations, you are locked in by debt and the thought that you don't want to waste all the insane effort you have already put in. If this were a religious organization, it would be classified as a cult. Don't believe me? Look up some cults and compare the way they brain wash people and the way med school treats students.

On a side note, if submissions aren't published I'll try and email the author to let them know the reasons and how the article can be improved for publication. Providing no feedback would discourage people too much I think.

Also, I'm not trying to be an internet Nazi or anything like that. I just want the quality of content for the MSH community to be as good as possible, so please try to remember that.

Having open user submissions is something I've never done before so please bear with me as I learn the ropes.

Sure Yan, those topics are fine. I just want to keep everything relevant and helpful to the readers here. I figured I'd test this idea out and see how well it does.

I like this idea.

My favorite rule is "These rules are subject, and highly likely, to change." I think of it as the God rule.

Can the topics also cover public health issues or international health?
